Trade and Quality Infrastructure Division
The Trade and Quality Infrastructure (TQI) Division is the arm of Government responsible for enabling a competitive business environment through the generation of supportive and guiding policies and legislations. The TQI Division serves as the link between government and the business community, with a mandate to develop programmes and initiatives, and provide services which are geared towards adding value to the local business sector. Services provided by the Division are geared towards encouraging self-employment, income generation, import substitution, exports and foreign exchange earnings. (Micro and Small Business Act, 2013)

Montserrat Arts Council
The Montserrat Arts Council’s operational budget is 100% funded by the Government of Montserrat, through the Office of the Premier. It has a mandate to foster the development of art; uplift the condition of arts and artists; advise the Minister on art and cultural matters; ensure the implementation of the government’s cultural policy; implement government’s regional and international cultural commitments; and co-ordinate the activities of the agencies in Montserrat responsible for cultural activities.

Montserrat Tourism Division
The Montserrat Tourism Division (MTD) became a department in the Office of the Premier in 2015. Prior to that, it operated as a statutory body ‘The Montserrat Tourist Board’, which was incorporated under the Tourist Board Ordinance 1993. The functions of the national tourism office were briefly subsumed into the Montserrat Development Corporation.
